Hi, I’m Elyse, a family and landscape photographer based near the shores of Lake Hawea in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand.

I moved to Wanaka at the beginning of last year to start a new and exciting chapter in my life with my partner Alex and his two boys. Since then life has been a busy and beautiful whirlwind with my family.

I’ve been working behind the scenes to get my photography up and running again after making the big move back to the South Island from the Wairarapa two years ago.

I was born in Dunedin and have spent most of my life in the North Island.

Prior to moving I was a full-time photographer for Little Annie Pop-in Portraits for seven years in the Wairarapa. I met just under 20 families the first month and ended up photographing over 700. Outside of the Pop-ins I photographed lots of other precious family milestones.

With two growing boys who are changing before our eyes at home, including my experience photographing many families over the years, I know how important it is to capture precious, fleeting moments for your family and create lasting memories.

This is also my passion when out in the landscape. My Miniature Moments collection, which will soon be available in print, captures just that, those minute, fleeting moments in time that we get to hold onto forever with the magic of photography.
